How the plan works
- In Attendees, assign each person's Training roles. These determine which role-specific plan lines apply to them; All employees also covers people without a training role.
- Open Training Plan and start a year or open its draft. Owners and company-authorized administrators can prepare drafts.
- Use Add courses to choose suggested courses or search all published courses available to your company, including its private courses. Select the training role, frequency and schedule before saving.
- The account owner reviews the saved plan and signs it through Approve plan. Administrators can prepare the plan but cannot approve it.
- Enrol attendees separately, then monitor their training in the Training Matrix.
Worth knowing
Adding or approving a plan does not enrol attendees, send training invitations or charge your company. Enrolment is a separate action.
Editing a draft
Use Plan settings to change the title, period and notes. The year stays fixed. Use a line's Edit action in either the list or matrix to change its frequency, schedule, delivery method, provider or notes. Save pending edits before reviewing the plan for approval.
To change a line's course or training role, remove it and add a replacement. Removing a line also removes its associated exemptions, so check the confirmation carefully. Course frequency is a reference; your plan's frequency is your company's commitment and does not change certificate validity.
Revisions and signed records
Use the year/revision selector to open an earlier plan, or Start a new year for the next period. To change an approved plan, create a revision and edit its draft. The previous approved plan remains active until the owner approves the revision. Discarding that draft leaves the approved plan intact.
Approved and superseded plans remain available to view and download with their original signatures and dates. If someone changes a draft while you are editing or signing it, reload and review the latest saved version before continuing.
