Your own address

On Scale, learner links on your own web address and email from your own address.

Your learner address

  1. Open Settings, then Information, Branding and White label.
  2. Under Your learner address, type the host your learners will open, such as training.your-company.com, and press Use this host.
  3. Publish the records shown with whoever runs your domain: a CNAME that points the host at the platform (or an A record, for a bare domain only), and a TXT record with the host's own token.
  4. Press Check now, or wait: the host is checked every few minutes. Once both records are found it reads Live, and your learners' links and your verify page open on your address.

Keep the records in place: they are checked every day. A host whose records are still missing after 14 days is removed. Removing a live host asks first, because the links already sent on it stop working.

Your email address

  1. Under Your email address, type the address your learners' email should come from, and press Use this address.
  2. The domain is checked first. Then the records to publish appear: two CNAME records and an addition to your SPF record.
  3. Until they are found, email keeps coming from the platform's address under your name. Once the address is Active, invitations, codes and certificates come from it.
